Warranty automatically terminates if products are removed from the original installation site.

What's Covered

Products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.

Structural Integrity

Free from defects in materials and workmanship that impair the product's designed purpose under normal conditions.

Corrosion Resistance

Protection against premature corrosion of aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized components beyond expected tolerances.

Material Defects

Protection against manufacturing defects in raw materials including alloy composition (AL6005-T5, ZAM, SUS304) and dimensional accuracy.

Load-Bearing Performance

Guaranteed performance under rated wind, snow, and dead loads as specified in product datasheets and engineering reports.

Component Functionality

Coverage for clamps, brackets, rails, and fasteners that fail to perform their intended mechanical function.

Surface Finish & Coating

Warranty on anodized, powder-coated, and galvanized finishes against peeling, flaking, or degradation beyond normal weathering.

If a defect is confirmed — at Megawa Solar's discretion

Repair

Defective product is repaired to restore full functionality.

Replace

Defective product is replaced with a new or refurbished product of comparable function.

Refund

Original purchase price is refunded for the defective product.

Exclusions

Installation & Usage

Not following Megawa Solar's installation manual or local building codes
Unauthorized alteration, modification, or third-party repair
Use with unapproved non-Megawa Solar components
Loads exceeding the product's specified design limits

Environmental & External

Extreme weather beyond design specifications (hurricane, earthquake, etc.)
Corrosive environments (salt spray, acid rain) unless expressly certified
Normal wear and tear, or cosmetic changes not affecting structural integrity
Damage during shipment, storage, accident, negligence, or misuse

Key Provisions

Transferable

Warranty transfers to subsequent property owners, provided the products remain at the original installation site.

EU Consumer Protection

For EU consumers, this warranty does not affect statutory rights under Directive (EU) 2019/771, including the minimum two-year legal guarantee.

Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes resolved by CIETAC arbitration in Xiamen.

Warranty Claim Process

Follow these steps to submit a warranty claim during the applicable warranty period.

Notify Within 30 Days

Contact Megawa Solar in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect. Reach us via email or through an authorized distributor.

Submit Documentation

Provide: your contact info, dated proof of purchase, installation site address, detailed defect description, and photographic/video evidence.

Technical Assessment

Our engineering team reviews your claim and may request site access for inspection or product return for testing.

Resolution

Approved claims are resolved via repair, replacement, or refund. Repaired/replaced products remain covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
