Our Story

How We Got Here

In 2010, our founders started NACYC ENERGY in Xiamen — not to build the cheapest solar mounting systems, but to build ones that could survive Japanese typhoons and earthquakes. For fifteen years, the Japanese market taught us a simple lesson: there are no shortcuts in structural engineering. That discipline became part of who we are.

In 2024, we faced a choice that many companies face: merge into something bigger, or take everything we'd learned and start fresh with a clear conviction. We chose conviction. Megawa Solar was born — because we believed this industry needed a company that treats engineering service and structural compliance as seriously as the product itself.

Too many companies in solar mounting compete on price alone. We chose a different path. We built our own FEM-based structural compliance platform — not because a client asked for it, but because we believe every installation, regardless of size, deserves proper engineering. That's not a slogan. It's a responsibility we hold ourselves to.

Our Journey

2010

NACYC ENERGY Founded

Three founders combined their experience in metal manufacturing and solar to build something lasting. NACYC ENERGY was born in Xiamen — with a single focus: the Japanese market, where there's no room for shortcuts.

Sales Hit $5 Million

Four years of earning trust in Japan's demanding market paid off. 90% of revenue came from overseas — proof that engineering quality, not price, was driving growth.

SOEASY Established

A like-minded team launched SOEASY with the same philosophy — quality over volume. Within a year, they secured their first 10MW project. Two companies, one shared belief in doing things right.

64MW Project in Cambodia

Southeast Asia called for speed and scale. SOEASY delivered 64MW in Cambodia — proving that the rigor learned in Japan could adapt to new markets without compromising standards.

100MW Project in Vietnam

Our biggest project yet — and our proudest. 100MW delivered in just two months. Not because we cut corners, but because 10 years of process refinement made it possible.

New Office & Growing Team

Growth earned through repeat customers, not marketing spend. SOEASY moved into their own office — a team that stayed together because they believed in what they were building.

Two Uniting as One

Rather than merge into a larger company, we chose conviction over comfort. NACYC and SOEASY united as Megawa Solar — a fresh brand built on 15 years of shared values: do it properly, or don't do it at all.

Structural Compliance Platform

We built what we couldn't find in the market — an in-house FEM platform that generates structural compliance reports for JIS, ASCE 7, and Eurocode. Because we believe every installation, no matter how small, deserves proper engineering.

To compete on engineering quality, not price alone — and make structural compliance accessible for solar projects of any size.

Our Values

Every installation deserves proper engineering. We back our mounting systems with structural compliance — so you can build with confidence.

Humility

We chose to start fresh rather than hide behind a bigger name. We'd rather be judged by what we deliver than by how big we sound.

Pragmatism

Fewer parts, faster assembly, standard tools. Every design decision starts with the installer on the roof, not the brochure.

Professionalism

15 years in Japan's strictest market taught us: no shortcuts in engineering. That discipline now runs through everything we do.

Integrity

If we can't back it with data, we don't claim it. We share test reports, real specs, and honest lead times.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most mounting suppliers compete on price. We compete on engineering. Our team has 15 years of experience in the Japanese market — one of the most demanding in solar. We built our own structural compliance platform, we own our factory, and we back every system with real data: test reports, material certificates, and project-specific structural calculations.
Yes. We provide project-specific structural calculations compliant with JIS C 8955, ASCE 7-16, or Eurocode EN 1991 — depending on your project location. Our in-house FEM-based platform generates these calculations, and results can be cross-verified with SAP2000. Ask us about compliance support for your project.
We're flexible. For standard products, a typical order starts at one 20ft or 40ft container. But we also support smaller orders and sample shipments — especially for new partners evaluating our systems.
Standard products ship within 15-25 business days from order confirmation. OEM/ODM projects typically require 30-45 days for the first order, including sample approval. We provide QC photos and material certificates with every shipment.
Yes. We can ship sample components (hooks, clamps, rail sections) so you can evaluate material quality, finish, and assembly fit before committing to a full order. Contact our sales team for details.
Yes. We offer full OEM/ODM services — from custom design and engineering to private-label manufacturing. Our 6,000 m² facility handles the complete production chain in-house, so we can control quality and lead times from start to finish. Visit our OEM/ODM service page for details.
