Terra AL
Pre-assembled AL6005-T5 aluminum ground mount solar mounting system for utility-scale and commercial solar farms. Factory pre-assembled for rapid installation with 0-45° adjustable tilt.

Terra FLEX
The Terra FLEX is a terrain-adaptive ground mount solar mounting system built from AL6005-T5 aluminum and carbon steel, engineered for hillside, sloped, and uneven terrain solar installations. Its east-west and north-south adjustable column design with click-in rail system delivers a 0-30° tilt range and 42 m/s wind resistance for challenging topographies.

Terra SP
The Terra SP is a single-post ground mount solar mounting system combining AL6005-T5 aluminum and carbon steel for utility-scale solar infrastructure. Its pile-driven foundation and terrain-adaptive design enable fast deployment across challenging landscapes with 40 m/s wind resistance.

Terra ZAM
The Terra ZAM is a Zn-Al-Mg coated steel ground mount solar mounting system engineered for commercial and utility-scale solar farms. Its advanced coating delivers superior corrosion resistance at lower cost than hot-dipped galvanized steel, with design wind ratings up to 60 m/s.
Product.aboutCategory
Megawa Solar's ground mount systems serve the full spectrum of ground-based solar installations — from small commercial arrays to multi-megawatt utility-scale power plants. We offer two primary material options: AL6005-T5 aluminum (Terra AL) for lightweight, corrosion-resistant deployments, and Zn-Al-Mg coated steel (Terra ZAM) for maximum structural strength and cost efficiency at scale.
Aluminum Ground Mount
Lightweight, corrosion-resistant — ideal for coastal or humid environments
Steel Ground Mount
High-strength ZAM steel — cost-effective for large utility-scale projects
Sloping Terrain
Hilly or uneven ground requiring per-post height adjustment
Single Post Design
Minimum ground footprint with pile-driven single post structure
Both aluminum and steel systems are rated for wind speeds up to 60 m/s and support 0-45 degree tilt adjustment, making them suitable for diverse geographic and climate conditions. Foundation options include ground screws for rapid deployment and concrete foundations for permanent installations.
For challenging terrain, Terra FLEX provides specialized adjustability for sloping ground, while Terra SP offers a single-post design for maximum coverage with minimum material. All ground mount systems include pre-assembled components and quick-lock clamps to reduce on-site installation time by up to 40% compared to traditional bolt-together systems.
Product.categoryFaq
Common questions about ground mount systems from installers, EPCs, and distributors.
Choose Terra AL (aluminum) for projects in coastal, humid, or corrosive environments where weight and corrosion resistance are priorities. Choose Terra ZAM (Zn-Al-Mg coated steel) for utility-scale projects where structural strength and material cost are the primary considerations. Both systems support the same wind load (60 m/s) and tilt range (0-45°).
Terra AL and Terra ZAM support both ground screw and concrete foundations. Terra FLEX is optimized for ground screw foundations on sloping terrain. Terra SP uses pile-driven foundations. Ground screws offer faster installation (no concrete curing time) and are suitable for most soil types. We recommend a geotechnical assessment for utility-scale projects.
Terra AL and Terra ZAM are rated for wind speeds up to 60 m/s, among the highest in the industry. Terra FLEX supports up to 42 m/s, and Terra SP supports up to 40 m/s. All systems are tested to JIS C 8955, AS/NZS 1170, DIN 1055, and ASCE/SEI 7-05 standards.
Yes. Terra FLEX is specifically designed for sloping terrain with per-post height adjustment capability. Terra AL and Terra ZAM can also accommodate moderate slopes through adjustable leg extensions. For extreme terrain, our engineering team can provide custom structural designs.
With pre-assembled components and quick-lock clamps, a typical 1 MW ground mount installation takes 5-7 days for the mounting structure (excluding foundation work). Ground screw foundations can be installed at 150-200 screws per day with a hydraulic driver. Concrete foundations require additional curing time.
